Listen, the entire Republican machine is trying to discourage rational discourse, and suppress the vote. Yeah, I know, “The Mob, The Mob, they’re coming to get you!!”, says the Orange Goblin in the White House.
But, the only mob out there are the septuagenarians in the Senate led by McConnell, who are ramming federal judgeships down the throats of all Americans in a blind panic to get it done before the mid-terms.
So they bring out the obfuscation, and deflection, trying to confuse you like a male Bird of Paradise performing his mating dance in the jungle. “Look, look, over here. Immigrants, fake press, abused males, Korea.” Anything to keep our attention focused on something besides what they are really doing.
And what they are doing (in our name) is giving away money to the moneyed rich, blowing holes in the federal budget, and blaming it on medicare and social security. They are coddling our adversaries (North Korea / Russia), and being actively hostile to our traditional allies.
But this is only possible because of the daily onslaught of distractions. “NFL players kneeling, MS13, the Democratic Mob, Stormy Daniels.” It is relentless.
Well, for the next month, try to filter out the noise and focus “like a laser” on what is important this month. This month it is important to vote. Figure out who it is you want to represent you, and Vote. Figure out which of the ballot options you want to pass, and Vote.

Don’t like Devin Nunes, and live in his Central Valley district? Then vote for Andrew Janz, the Democratic Alternative.

Don’t like Duncan Hunter, the guy that threw his wife under the bus when indicted for using $250k of campaign funds to enhance his lifestyle? Then vote for Ammar Campa-Najjar, the Democratic Alternative.

Tired of having the Trump yes-man, pro Putin/Russia, Dana Rohrbacher, in charge of his Orange County district? Then vote for Harley Rouda, the Democratic Alternative.
There are many more of these races to consider. But the point is, if you don’t like your representative, then vote the alternative. You have an opportunity to win the house this election cycle. Take the time to vote, and get rid of the riff-raff.

Signing off for now.
